Keeping your car ‘green’ does not just involve driving slower, using remanufactured parts for your engine and adding fuel additives to reduce your emissions - you also have to consider how you keep up the appearance of your car. Both interior and exterior conventional car care (cleaning) products are harmful to humans and our environment. They to do more long-term harm to paint, chrome and other details, than good. Interior cleaners contain toxins, or VOCs (volatile organic compounds), that are not only present when they are initially used in the car, but stick around and continue to pollute the air inside the vehicle. Outdoor cleaners contain chemicals that are harmful to our surrounding environment, and have a tendency to run off into our streams, rivers and lakes.

Fortunately there are companies that have noticed this often overlooked problem, and decided to make a change.
