Who doesn't like a nice clean car? But hand washing your car at home uses 150 gallons of water, according to the International Carwash Association. Also, nasty cleaning fluids can wind up in the groundwater supply. Not good. A few states and municipalities are thinking about an outright ban of home car washing.
Make your car greener and cleaner by going “waterless.” Instead of turning on the garden hose, soaping up and pouring buckets of water on the car, waterless carwashes use a concentrated solution that just needs to be sprayed on. Typically formulated with all-natural ingredients, waterless carwashes are safe for the environment as well as delicate paint.
