Hi-tech suspension systems capture the energy of going over bumps in the road and converting it into power for your car. In a hybrid-electric vehicle it could even be used to propel the car and save on fuel costs.  This kind of electricity generation for the car is similar to what is already used in some hybrid cars where batteries are recharged when braking.
